Clouds floating on water....with the wind's absence these clouds seemed to have a mind of their own, going any which way they pleased.
Full view is recomended.
this is surreal. i believe the exposure used is bulb? how long was the exposure?
superb usage of the exposure to capture the sleek movement of clouds. framing of the main focus, which i believe is lake is done nicely as well. the inclusion of the grit and dirt you can find at a riverside (pls take a look at the bottom right) adds a nice touch. great exposure seriously. you can even see the details of the riverbed which does not harm to the picture at all. serenity at the countryside or nature is fully captured in this shot.
the picture has a sense of direction, making your vision follow the river direction uptowards the horizon, which will prompt you to look at the clouds in the sky. if not, the arresting sky with the help of the clouds, give directions to the eye, asking it to go downwards which lead you to the foreground. outstanding angle. both directions will allow the viewer to appreciate the piece more. i can only ask that i have such talents in me.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
